Giving Hope to our Community
We provide basic needs,
build relationships and
share the Gospel
to the homeless and poor.
At The Centre of Hope in Sasolburg, it is our mission to give new hope in Christ to the broken hearted and discouraged people of our community.
We provide food, clothing, counselling and skills development to give them hope for a better future.
In building a relationship with each member, we can share the gospel and love of Jesus Christ and give a helping hand in need.
A delicious meal is provided every Thursday morning after a short service.
On Wednesday and Friday, a cup of tea and bread are handed out.
On Tuesday food is available at the Methodist Church.
Our dream is to provide a meal on a daily basis during the week.
Food parcels are also distributed as needed.
Food scheme
Our Centre offers emotional, mental and spiritual support through counselling and support groups.
Currently we have a Depression-group, Women’s support group and One-on-One Counselling sessions with a professional counsellor.
Counselling Support
At the clothing store we provide clothes for the homeless and poor. Clothes are also being sold for as little as R10. This provides some income for the Centre.

Skills development and Employment search
One of our priorities is to assist our members to get a job. Helping them to develop new skills for the job market, connect them with businesses and assist them with their job application if necessary.
“As a volunteer, my life has changed. when you become aware of the hurts and struggles other people are facing, it puts your own blessed life in perspective.”
